Tour 2026 - Run to the Battle Line!

Image
Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a fantastic day like I am! After having been on the road for 2 weeks, I’m appreciating all the little blessings at home such as a comfy mattress, my own coffee, and of course Myah and Daniel who bring inexpressible joy to my life. Take some time and appreciate all the little blessings the Lord has given you today!   I just got back from tour with Rev 5, and I wanted to briefly share some praise reports from our time on the road! For those of you who don’t know, Rev 5 goes on tour every spring around the United States for a couple of weeks performing a spoken word presentation and doing prayer ministry at various locations. This year, our theme was “Run to the Battle Line” out of the story of David and Goliath. We were exhorting our generation to learn their identity as a child of God and run to the battle line against the giants in our world. This is not only a way for us to minister to the body, but also to teach our students how to pray ...

Baby, Thank You, and Prayer Request

Hi everyone! As many of you know, we just had a baby! Daniel Jay Bourque was born on January 13th at 9:48pm. He was 7lbs 8oz and 21 inches long. I wonder where he got his height from:) I want you all to know that we have adjusted very well to being parents and are so grateful to the Lord for Daniel. He has been an amazing blessing to our family, and although I'm biased, I think God gave us the cutest baby ever! My favorite part of this new season is "family snuggles" where we all snuggle up in the bed and read the JSB (Jesus Storybook Bible) together as a family. Family snuggles usually ends up with Dad crying because of some profound truth in the JSB, and Daniel crying because he wants food. I just love being a Dad!  Although I'd love to be a proud parent and write 20 paragraphs about Daniel, that's not the primary reason I'm posting today. I'm writing primarily to say a huge thank you to those of you who have supported our ministry here at Revolution 5. ...

October-November Update

Image
Dear Friends and Family, Last time I wrote, we were leaving for Testimony retreat, and what a trip it was! It was one of those times where people came into the week one way and left completely different. I don't think it ever ceases to blow my mind how much shame and fear debilitates people’s view of themselves and their effectiveness in God’s kingdom. Watching people begin to taste freedom from those things was a gift. It was so much fun to be on the lead team this year as well and get to share our stories for a second time in a row. The first time I shared, personally I was absolutely terrified of what people would think of me if they knew who I truly was and this year, to be on the other side and share with a much deeper understanding of the Lord’s narrative over my life instead of the enemy’s was freeing and a lot of fun! It is exciting to watch the students relate to different pieces of our stories and begin to see redemption in their own.  We had a few smaller trips in betwee...

Quick update: High School Retreat!

Image
Hey everyone! Myah is working on a more comprehensive update to send out soon, but I wanted to share a quick update about our recent high school "intensive" retreat!  Myah and I had the honor of helping coordinate and lead our first high school intensive this past weekend. We worked with our friends Tianna and Joel to plan content, create the schedule, assign roles, and lead the whole retreat! Myah was the "MC" for the entire weekend, making sure all the students knew what was happening and when. I got the opportunity to teach an hour long class about "Law vs Grace" and how to properly view the gospel.  We had 15 students attend the retreat, which was probably the most we've ever had at a high school intensive! Our theme for the weekend was "the unveiling", using the theme passage 2 Corinthians 3:12-18. During our final session, students were asked to write a lie keeping them from God on a piece of cloth, then tear the cloth and burn it, symb...

September Updates - Lots of Trips!

Image
Dear Friends and Family,  The last three weeks have been a whirlwind of an adventure with everything from midnight van breakdowns in Wyoming to seeing the beginnings of breakthroughs in a few student’s lives. Here are the latest updates!  Perspective Trip One of the biggest highlights these past few weeks was our first big trip of the year—taking students and staff families up to the Tetons in Wyoming. The theme was Perspective —learning to see ourselves, others, and the world through God’s story of redemption instead of the enemy’s narrative of destruction.  The trip started a little wild—one of our vans broke down at midnight in the middle of Wyoming. Everyone was tired and cranky, but it was awesome to watch the students (and us leaders!) rally, choose joy, and still roll into the Tetons by 4am. I love this trip because it’s fun and lighthearted, but also gives a glimpse into the deeper parts of everyone’s hearts. We saw masks come down and real bonding happen. We took...

It's a Boy!!!

Image
We're having a baby boy!!! Baby is healthy and everyone is very excited.  Most notable from the appointment was this baby's resemblance to when Noah was a baby and would study his fist with great fascination. During the ultrasound, this baby boy sat for a long while with his little fist up, making us all laugh.  Thank you for all of your prayers! We love you all and are so thankful for you.

Move in Day!

Hi Friends and Family! Welcome to our new blog! We’re super excited to begin using this as our primary way of staying connected with you. Our hope is that this space will let us communicate more regularly with our support team and create a more personal connection than our newsletters have allowed. If you’re reading this, thank you for taking the time to stay updated on how the Lord is working in our lives and through our ministry at Revolution 5. You’ll also get an email notification each time the blog is updated, so you can always stay in the loop! Today is new student move-in day! We’ve just wrapped up two weeks of training for our roles and responsibilities within Rev 5 this year, and now it’s game time. We are so excited to help cultivate a space where these new students can sit down at the table with Jesus and grow with Him for the next nine months. Last year, Rev 5 was deeply impactful for both of us—personally and in our marriage—and we’re absolutely PUMPED to see how the Lor...
