Tour 2026 - Run to the Battle Line!
Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a fantastic day like I am! After having been on the road for 2 weeks, I’m appreciating all the little blessings at home such as a comfy mattress, my own coffee, and of course Myah and Daniel who bring inexpressible joy to my life. Take some time and appreciate all the little blessings the Lord has given you today!
I just got back from tour with Rev 5, and I wanted to briefly share some praise reports from our time on the road! For those of you who don’t know, Rev 5 goes on tour every spring around the United States for a couple of weeks performing a spoken word presentation and doing prayer ministry at various locations. This year, our theme was “Run to the Battle Line” out of the story of David and Goliath. We were exhorting our generation to learn their identity as a child of God and run to the battle line against the giants in our world. This is not only a way for us to minister to the body, but also to teach our students how to pray for and encourage everyone they encounter.
We have huge praise reports from our prayer ministry this year! Rev 5 had the opportunity to pray with hundreds of highschoolers across the country and see the Lord move in mighty ways. There were countless stories of people being encouraged, healed, and having significant encounters with the Lord through the prayer ministry. A number of our students reported that they prayed with people who rededicated their lives to the Lord or accepted Jesus as their savior for the first time! Praise the Lord!
I think my favorite stories to hear were the ones where Rev 5 students were able to speak identity into the young men and women they were praying for. A huge part of our tour presentation is the student creeds, where a number of Rev 5 students stand up and shout a portion of their identity creed proclaiming the identity God has given them as His child. It is common for highschoolers struggling with insecurity, depression, and hopelessness to come up in tears during the ministry time and tell our team “I just want to know God and know my identity in him like you do!” It’s an honor to partner with God as he exposes and removes lies the enemy has planted in these young people’s lives.
I hope these stories have been encouraging to you like they have been for me. I often get discouraged at the darkness of the world and the hugeness of the giants we face in the 21st century. The Lord has been reminding me that even though the darkness seems overpowering, and the giants seem impossible to defeat, we have the Spirit of the living God empowering his Church. He is the light that overpowers the darkness, and he empowers a young man with just a stone and a sling to defeat giants. “Then David said to the Philistine, ‘You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied…For the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hand.’”1 Samuel 17:45-47
Thank you all for your continued support in praying for us and Rev 5! May the Lord bless you with and encourage you in every way this week :)

P.S. Pray for energy and endurance as we finish out the year. Looking at our schedule between now and May is overwhelming, but I know the Lord will give us strength for each day! More details to come soon.
