Move in Day!

Hi Friends and Family!

Welcome to our new blog! We’re super excited to begin using this as our primary way of staying connected with you. Our hope is that this space will let us communicate more regularly with our support team and create a more personal connection than our newsletters have allowed. If you’re reading this, thank you for taking the time to stay updated on how the Lord is working in our lives and through our ministry at Revolution 5. You’ll also get an email notification each time the blog is updated, so you can always stay in the loop!

Today is new student move-in day! We’ve just wrapped up two weeks of training for our roles and responsibilities within Rev 5 this year, and now it’s game time. We are so excited to help cultivate a space where these new students can sit down at the table with Jesus and grow with Him for the next nine months. Last year, Rev 5 was deeply impactful for both of us—personally and in our marriage—and we’re absolutely PUMPED to see how the Lord is going to move in and through us this year!

Our roles and responsibilities

First, we’ll be serving in the MOP (Ministry of Presence) role. Ministry of Presence is all about walking alongside the new students throughout their Rev 5 experience—helping set a culture of honor toward one another and an anticipation for the Lord’s movement this year. Practically, this means we’ll be spending a lot of time with the students and walking with them through the ups and downs of life at Rev 5.

Second, we’re stepping into a more future-minded role connected to our calling. Both we and the Rev 5 staff sense the Lord leading us toward a significant role in the blossoming Rev 5 School of Worship. We’re beginning to move on a trajectory toward eventually becoming the staff leading this school. We are SO EXCITED about this direction and can’t wait to share more as the Lord develops our vision and involvement. This year, our role will look similar to an internship—learning and serving wherever we can, while also praying and working with staff to develop content and vision for the program.

Lastly, we have individual domains we will be responsible for this year. I will be in charge of Tech and Audio/Visual throughout the entire building. Myah is in charge of hospitality for guests, and she will also be a kitchen assistant.

There’s so much more I’d love to share, but students will be showing up here in just a few hours! Before I wrap up, I'd love to share a few prayer requests.

How you can Pray for us

  1. Strength, energy, and endurance over the next two months. This season is possibly the most intense of the year, and we need the Lord’s strength to sustain us as we press in.

  2. Myah and the baby! Myah has been doing really well overall, aside from constant low-grade fatigue. Please pray that her pregnancy continues smoothly and that baby keeps growing big and strong. :)

  3. Equipping for the future. Pray that Myah and I would be prepared for the ministry the Lord is shaping us for. Ask that our character, marriage, and relationship with Jesus would keep growing in both depth and breadth.

We’re looking forward to sharing more regular updates here in the coming months. Thank you so much for your prayers and the many ways you’ve supported us. We feel so loved and blessed to have such an amazing group of people walking with us.

With love,
Noah Bourque

P.S. We find out the baby’s gender this week! We’ll be posting the reveal here soon—so keep an eye out for that!
