Baby, Thank You, and Prayer Request
Hi everyone! As many of you know, we just had a baby! Daniel Jay Bourque was born on January 13th at 9:48pm. He was 7lbs 8oz and 21 inches long. I wonder where he got his height from:) I want you all to know that we have adjusted very well to being parents and are so grateful to the Lord for Daniel. He has been an amazing blessing to our family, and although I'm biased, I think God gave us the cutest baby ever! My favorite part of this new season is "family snuggles" where we all snuggle up in the bed and read the JSB (Jesus Storybook Bible) together as a family. Family snuggles usually ends up with Dad crying because of some profound truth in the JSB, and Daniel crying because he wants food. I just love being a Dad!
Although I'd love to be a proud parent and write 20 paragraphs about Daniel, that's not the primary reason I'm posting today. I'm writing primarily to say a huge thank you to those of you who have supported our ministry here at Revolution 5. I recently had the opportunity to sit down and review our finances in preparation for this next year, and I was blown away by the profound generosity of those who have supported us in 2025. I honestly broke down in tears of gratitude for the way the Lord has shown his love for us through you this year. I don't feel like I can say thank you enough times to match the generosity of our support team. Please know that we are grateful to all of you, and we are humbled that you would choose to support the work that Jesus is doing in and through our lives.
I'll have some updates coming soon regarding Rev 5 and our future with the organization, but I'd love to put a prayer request on your radar in the meantime. In February, two mission's teams will be sent from Rev 5. One team of older students and staff will go to Tanzania on an evangelism trip, and the other team will head to Honduras to support the work of local missionaries and churches. Although Myah and I will not be on either of these teams, we would appreciate prayer for all of our friends who are going! Here are some ways you can pray:
- Please pray for the growth of each student going on the trips! Although we want the Lord to move mightily through these teams, the primary goal of each trip is to continue the growth of the students in following the Holy Spirit and ministering according to His will and power.
- Pray for a harvest of the gospel in each country. We want new believers to be added to Christ's Church through these teams!
- Pray protection over each team as they travel and engage with the people of Tanzania and Honduras. We would love to have all our friends back with us safe and sound :)
